In the Shindler’s factory museum the exhibition says about the Nazi occupation time in Krakow, especially about difficult situation of Jews in the Krakow’s Ghetto.
Enamel Factory in Krakow became world famous thanks to the movie Schindler’s List directed by Steven Spielberg. Nowadays there is an exhibition “Krakow – Occupation 1939-1945” in the same authentic former factory. You will learn about the history of German businessman – Oscar Schindler, a man who saved over 1000 Jews. Exhibition also presents the history of the Krakow Ghetto and Plaszow Concentration Camp. Modern way of presenting the history of world war II and Nazi occupation helps to understand and feel better what people experienced in these dark times.
We highly recommend a combined option with The former Concentration Camp Plaszow (link)
